Guide to Mizuhiki cords

Mizuhiki is a tranditional Japanese art that uses special paper cords.

The paper is tightly wound to give it stiffness and density. The resulting paper cord is then coloured and patterned in a wide of ways.

The cord can be used for making decorative knots and jewellery.

Decorative knots can be used for many purposes such as card making or as a decorative feature in gift wrapping (rather like using a ribbon).

Traditional Mizuhiki knots were used to symbolise a joining of people we love.

Hello! Thank you very much, I can't wait to get them. My sister will be even more happier. She loves origami. And it's really expensive back home. Do you sell any books on origami? Please let me know, thanks again.
